Tree of Life Hollow

The Studs

The stallions carrying the Choctaw strain forward — selected for bloodline integrity, temperament, and the quiet strength that defines this breed.

Our Breeding Stallions

Breeding decisions at Tree of Life Hollow begin with the stallions — their bloodlines, their conformation, their character. Every stud in our program carries documented Colonial Spanish Horse lineage with emphasis on the Choctaw strain, and each was selected not only for what he represents genetically but for how he carries himself in the field and the paddock.

We breed in low volume by design. These stallions are not working at scale — they are working with intention.

The goal is never to produce more horses. The goal is to produce the right horses.

Chief Blue Streak

Breeding Stallion

Chief Blue Streak

CHIEF GOING STREAK X PRINCESS TEATA — Choctaw-Cherokee Chief Blue Streak is a blue-eyed red dun medicine hat — one of the rarest color expressions in the Colonial Spanish Horse, and among the rarest combinations of marking and eye color in any breed. A horse marked this way was believed to carry a protective power, to stand between his people and harm. Blue earns the designation in ways that go beyond color.

Prince of Choctaws

BIG MUDDY MIRACLE X CHOCTAW MOZELLE — Choctaw/Cherokee/Huasteca Achukma is the Choctaw word for “good.” Excellent, even. More than one guest has called him a sexy horse, unprompted, without embarrassment, because they were simply reporting what they saw. He is that, and considerably more.

Fichik Okchako

Breeding Stallion

Fichik Okchako

CHIEF OKCHAKO X BELLE STAR TOO! — Choctaw/Cherokee There is a certain kind of mover that stops you mid-scroll. Fichik is that kind of horse. His natural knee action has the quality of something you’d expect to see in a dressage arena: high, rhythmic, perfect in its cadence.
